Description

This is a windmill tower located approximately 100 yards north-west of Butterhill Farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century. The structure is made of red brick in English garden wall bond, with some repairs using engineering brick and a timber wall plate. It has a corrugated iron roof and features a circular plan. The tower stands three storeys tall, tapering towards the top, with window openings and a ground-floor doorway that have segmental heads. Butterhill Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
