Description
Hilltop Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from red brick, featuring a hipped plain tile roof and brick ridge stacks. The building is aligned north-south and faces west. It has three storeys, with the second floor having reduced proportions. The facade includes three windows, which are casements with wooden mullions and transoms, topped with gauged brick heads. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door framed by a moulded wooden architrave, a rectangular overlight, and a bracketed cornice hood. Inside, there is a late 17th-century open well staircase that has square newels, corkscrew twist balusters, and a closed string, which has been re-used and extended.
