Description
The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Kiddemore Green Road in Brewood. It has been heavily restored and extended in the late 20th century. The cottage features a timber frame and a thatched roof that is hipped to the left, with the thatch extending over three dormers. The gable end stack is plastered, and the building is one storey with an attic. There are three small square panels at the eaves, supported by short straight braces. The window arrangement is 1:1:2, with a large half-hipped three-light bay window to the left of centre, which is boarded above eaves level. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements.
