Description
Ketley House is a house dating from the early 17th century, with later additions, one dated 1707 and another probably from the early 19th century. The structure is timber framed with painted brick infill, some of which has been replaced with brick. It features painted brick additions, a brick ridge stack, and an external end stack. The original 17th-century section runs north-south, while the 18th-century wing is to the south and the 19th-century wing is to the north, both aligned east-west and projecting to the east.
The west front has two storeys. The 17th-century range is on the left, showcasing first-floor timber framing with two square panels up to the eaves. To the right is the gabled wing from 1707, which has 1:1 casements and two windows on the ground floor. The gable of this wing is inscribed with a datestone reading: "K / I E / 1707". The left gable of the 17th-century range is jettied. The interior has not been inspected.
