3/26 Former service block to Teddesley Hall (Previously 16.5.53 listed as "Teddesley Hall")

GV II

Service block. Late C18. Red brick with ashlar plinth and dressings; hipped plain tile roof; brick lateral external stacks. 4 ranges enclosing a rectangular courtyard. South-west front: 2 storeys with coved eaves; 2:3:2 bays, central pedimented break, windows have moulded architraves, some retain glazing bar sashes; central false door with Gibbs surround and pediment. South-east front: 2 storeys with coved eaves; 2:3:2 bays, central pedimented break, windows have gauged heads, some retain glazing bar sashes; doors to right and left of central break. North-west front: 2 storeys; 7 bays, windows have gauged heads, some retain glazing bar sashes; central full-height carriage entrance with semi-circular arch, raised keystone and plain pilasters, 6-panelled doors to left and right both with semi-circular heads, and to left and right of carriage arch. Teddesley Hall has been demolished.
