Description
The former service block to Teddesley Hall is a late 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring an ashlar plinth and dressings. It has a hipped plain tile roof and brick lateral external stacks. The structure consists of four ranges that enclose a rectangular courtyard.
On the south-west front, the building is two storeys high with coved eaves and a layout of 2:3:2 bays, highlighted by a central pedimented break. The windows have moulded architraves, and some retain their glazing bar sashes. There is a central false door with a Gibbs surround and pediment.
The south-east front also has two storeys with coved eaves, arranged in a similar 2:3:2 bay configuration and a central pedimented break. The windows here feature gauged heads, with some retaining glazing bar sashes. There are doors to the right and left of the central break.
The north-west front is two storeys tall with seven bays, where the windows again have gauged heads and some retain glazing bar sashes. This elevation includes a central full-height carriage entrance with a semi-circular arch, raised keystone, and plain pilasters, flanked by six-panelled doors on both sides, which also have semi-circular heads. Teddesley Hall itself has been demolished.
