Description

The steps and flanking urns are located on the terrace in front of the east side of Keele Hall. They were probably built between 1860 and 1880, possibly by the designer William Andrews Nesfield. The structure features a short, wide flight of five shallow steps, which are flanked by two highly decorated urns set on square pedestals. This feature is included for its group value.
