Description

This is a milepost from the mid to late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top face is marked with the name "FAZELEY." The left side displays distances to Fazeley (2 miles), Tamworth (2¼ miles), and Atherstone (9 miles). The right side indicates the distance to Lichfield (6 miles).
