Description
This is an 18th-century dovecote located approximately 20 yards south of Sunday's Well in King's Bromley. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped plain tile roof topped with a wooden cupola that has a ball finial. The dovecote has a hexagonal plan and consists of two storeys, with toothed eaves built over an arched vault. The upper storey is lit by glazing bar casements with segmental heads, and there is a door on the north-east side.
Inside, the walls are lined with nesting boxes. This dovecote is situated in the former grounds of the now-demolished King's Bromley Manor.
