Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 100 yards northwest of Croxall Hall, likely dating from the late 16th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, featuring flared headers that create diaper patterns. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, topped by a domed octagonal cupola and a weathervane. The dovecote has a square plan and is a single storey high, with an off-set plinth and a toothed band that is slightly lower than the eaves. There is a Tudor arch window on each side, although the west window is damaged and blocked.
