Description
Manley Lodge is a lodge built around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and has slate roofs. The building features unusual paired chimney stacks that are set diagonally. The gables are ashlar coped and include kneelers and finials topped with ogee domical caps. There is a chamfered plinth and a first-floor band. The lodge is two storeys tall and has an L-plan layout. It has a projecting ashlar porch with a gable that has a similar finial, mullioned lights on the sides, and a four-centred doorway. The windows are iron framed casements, arranged in two and three lights, and are set in chamfered ashlar surrounds.
