Description
Shenstone Park Stables, now used as warehouses, were built in the late 18th century and have undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of red brick, featuring moulded stone eaves, quoins, and dressings, with a tiled roof. It has a broad flat 'U'-shaped plan and a tall, single-storey facade that includes flanking gables and a central projection with a pediment. The pediment is positioned below the ridge level and contains an oeil de boeuf in the tympanum, with a corniced entrance below that features a keystone and overlight. The flanking wings have two windows each, which are now top-hung casements with gauged brick heads and keystones. The outer gables have large 20th-century entrances, while the left-hand side retains a window similar to the others. These stables are the only remaining structures from Shenstone Park.
