Description
The gate piers, steps, and flanking walls located approximately 10 yards southeast of Callowhill Hall are likely from the early 19th century, with some later additions. They are constructed from squared coursed and dressed large stone blocks, featuring ashlar piers and coursed rubble additions. The central steps are flanked by square-section gate piers topped with ball finials. The walls slope down for about 3 yards to former square-section end piers, which extend for another 10 yards. The additions at each end include carved masonry from the 17th century.
