Description
The Constitutional Club is a mid to late 19th-century building located on the east side of High Street. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and stands three storeys tall. The facade features five sash windows set in moulded dog-eared architraves with cornices. A decorative frieze with a pattern of roundels is present at the first floor, while the second floor showcases a Greek Key frieze. The ground storey is ashlar faced and rusticated, featuring a doorway on either side, each with a rectangular fanlight and a cornice hood supported by consoles. There are also three bank-type windows. The building is topped with a plain frieze and modillion eaves cornices, along with a parapet.
