Description

Nos 147 and 148 on High Street date from around 1890. The buildings are constructed of red brick and rise three storeys high. They feature six renewed sash windows that do not have glazing bars, each topped with flat brick arches and moulded terra cotta keyblocks. The entrance is framed by a stuccoed Tuscan doorcase with three-quarter columns, a plain entablature, and a dentilled pediment. Additional architectural details include moulded terra cotta stringcourses and coved overhanging eaves.
