Description

This is a chest tomb located approximately 3 yards south of the south aisle of the Church of St John Baptist. It dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and is constructed of stone with an oblong plan. The tomb features a heavy moulded capping with chamfered under edges, panelled sides, and pilaster strips at the corners.
