Description

The building is a churchyard cross located approximately 15 yards south of the south aisle of the Church of St. John Baptist in Mayfield. It is likely from the 15th century and made of stone. The cross features a square sectioned shaft with chamfered edges, although the north arm has been broken off. It stands on a 20th-century base and was relocated from a site opposite The Hermitage in Middle Mayfield.
