Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century town houses, numbers 8 and 10 Duke Street, Tutbury, forming a terraced range. The building is constructed of brick, featuring toothed eaves, a tiled roof, and brick stacks. It has three storeys and a five-window front. The windows are sash windows with simple lintels. The doorway to number 9 has reeded pilasters, a cornice supported by console brackets, and a rectangular fanlight above the door. Number 10 has a simpler doorcase with pilasters and a weather hood, also with a rectangular fanlight.
