Description

1 Duke Street is an 18th-century house and shop, with alterations from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The building is three storeys high. The central doorway is flanked on each side by a 20-pane window, each featuring reeded wood pilasters and an entablature. A further doorway to the right has a semi-circular fanlight. The building has a radiused angle to its left-hand returned side, which has a single window.
