Description

Lower House is an early 19th-century remodelling of an 18th-century house. The building is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof featuring gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. It is three storeys high with three bays. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a voussoir lintel with a keyblock. The central doorcase features reeded pilasters and an entablature with a panelled frieze, along with panelled reveals, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled door. Brick end stacks are present. A late 19th-century front garden area includes railings on a dwarf brick wall with stone coping; the wrought iron railings have spear heads and a matching gate at each end.
