Description
The White House is a house dating from around the 18th century, with an early to mid-19th century wing that creates a T-shaped plan. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a brick dentil eaves course. The roof is tiled with brick parapet gable ends and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has sash windows with glazing bars, including a three-light window and a one-light window on the ground floor. At the angle of the house, there is a semi-circular porch at the center, with a tripartite sash window to the right and a single light sash window to the left. The east end of the original range includes a sandstone ashlar extension, while the west end has a modern single-storey garage attached.
