Description

Nos. 36 and 37 Station Road are a pair of cottages dating from around the 17th century. No. 37 features a stuccoed exterior with exposed timber framing in the gable end, while No. 36 is fronted in brick from the 19th century. Both cottages have a plain tile roof with gabled ends and are one storey high with an attic. They have a three-window range, with modern and 19th-century casements. No. 37 has a fielded panel door, and No. 36 has a plank door. There are two 19th-century gabled dormers and an off-centre brick ridge stack. Additionally, No. 36 has a 19th-century brick wing at the rear.
