Description
Church Aston House is a mid-19th century Italianate house. The building is stuccoed, with the west front being roughcast. The front range may have an earlier core and features a steeply pitched slate roof with overhanging moulded eaves. It has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are sash style, with the first floor featuring glazing bars set in moulded segmental headed architraves. The left side of the ground floor has a key-block, while the right side has a canted bay. The central doorway is framed by a moulded architrave and leads to an open porch with a moulded cornice supported by brackets. There are end chimney stacks topped with a modillion cornice. The mid-19th century wing has a lower pitched hipped roof with a modillion eaves cornice, asymmetrical canted bays, and a porch with three round arches.
