Description

38 Wellington Road is a small brick cottage, likely built in the late 17th or early 18th century. It may have concealed timber framing and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has one window range. There is an eyebrow dormer that contains a 19th-century casement window with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is another 19th-century casement window with glazing bars, along with a central boarded door set in a segmental arched opening. A large external brick chimney stack, which has battered sides, is located at the south-west end of the building.
