Description
Nos 40 and 42 St Mary Street are buildings dating from around 1840. They are constructed of stucco and rise three storeys high. The façade features three sash windows, a sill band, an enriched modillion cornice, and a blocking course. On the left side, there is a one-windowed bay with a plain parapet. The original pedimented doorway has been replaced by a modern shop front, and the centre bay is splayed.
