Description
The Southern wash house, located approximately 3 meters west of numbers 3 and 5 on Bradley Road in Donnington, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas rendered. The building is single storey and features a brick projecting stack. To the right, there is a door accompanied by a two-light casement window, and another two-light casement window is situated at the rear. Inside, the wash house contains an early 19th-century fireplace complete with a cast-iron grate. This structure forms a group with the adjacent properties, numbers 3 and 5.
