Description
No. 36 Market Place is a shop built in the late 18th century. It features stucco over brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is three stories high and has a single bay facing the Market Place, which includes a renewed shop front and a Palladian window above it, along with a Diocletian window in the attic. The eaves cornice is decorated with modillions. The eastern elevation has four bays, showcasing a doorcase with fluted pilasters and a cornice above a panelled door with an overlight. There are sash windows with stuccoed heads that include stressed keystones and voussoirs, and a sill band is present at the first floor.
