Description

The village stocks in Weston-under-Redcastle are now disused and likely date from the 17th or 18th century. They consist of roughly dressed rectangular stone posts that feature original slots. Between these posts are two late 20th-century wooden planks, each with four leg holes. A rough stone block serves as a seat. Additionally, part of an earlier plank, which also has four leg holes, is fixed to the churchyard wall nearby, although this wall is not included in the listing.
