Description
Pentreheylin Hall is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of red brick and features chamfered stone angle quoins. It has a slate roof with coped verges and integral end stacks. The structure stands three storeys high and includes plain floor bands and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. There are three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with slightly cambered heads. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular barred overlight, set in a reeded doorcase that has semi-circular capitals and carved fan-like decoration above the overlight. To the left, there is a single-storey mid-20th century red brick addition that includes a Venetian window with reeded pilasters similar to those of the doorcase. The interior was not inspected at the time of the resurvey in October 1986, but it is likely to be of interest.
