Description
Nos. 3 and 4 are two cottages located in Badger, likely dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations, and restored around 1960 as noted on an inscription plaque. The cottages feature red brick and sandstone block walls, partial timber framing, and a thatched roof. They are 1 and a half storeys tall and probably consist of six structural bays, displaying square and vertical panelling, with one curved tension brace at the right-hand end. The windows are irregularly arranged, with seven 20th-century casements and five 20th-century eyebrow eaves dormers. The entrances are positioned to the left and right of the centre, and there is an axial ridge stack on a sandstone base, along with two brick end stacks.
