Description

The bridge and quadrant walls over the road at National Grid Reference SO 7705 9949 date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a stone parapet. The bridge features a single span arch that is approximately 3 meters high, with a slightly projecting relieving arch above. The quadrant walls serve as a revetment for the bank, which supports the path that used to be a carriageway leading to the classical temple located in Badger Dingle.
