Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 17th century, with a 19th-century extension and 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill panels and painted and rendered brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there are large brick gable end stacks, with the one on the extension projecting outwards.
The cottage is single storey with an attic. The front has square framing that is two panels high. There are two 20th-century casement windows and a 20th-century gabled porch on the right side. The left side has square framing with a straight brace and jowled posts, along with a tie-beam and collar, and a 2-light casement window. The right side is covered by the single storey gable extension. The interior has not been inspected.
