Description

This is a privy located approximately 25 metres to the north-east of The Isle, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pyramidal plain tile roof with a square plan and a single storey. The building has a dentil brick eaves cornice and a weathervane at the apex of the roof. There is a sash window on the north side, a segmental-headed six-panelled door on the south side, and possibly an inserted segmental-headed 19th-century four-panelled door on the west side. Inside, there is a two-seater earth closet, which was formerly a three-seater. The privy is situated above the ha-ha wall to the north of The Isle.
