Description

Number 15 on East Castle Street is an early 19th-century building made of red brick. It has three storeys and features three sash windows with plain lintels. There is an iron balcony at the center of the first floor, and above it, an open pediment with a segmental-headed window below. Coupled brick pilasters are present at the center of the façade. The original moulded stone pilaster doorcase has been replaced by a reproduction doorcase and pediment, which is built out on the right-hand side. This building, along with numbers 10 to 16 and St Mary's Church, forms a cohesive group.
