Description

No 12 on East Castle Street is a building from the mid-19th century, constructed of red brick with blue brick headers. It has two storeys and features three sash windows without glazing bars, each set within moulded stucco architraves. The entrance has a plain wood doorcase with sidelights and a rectangular fanlight, topped with a moulded stucco cornice supported by consoles. The building also has corbelled eaves and a tiled roof. It is included in the listing for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 10 to 16 (consecutive) and St Mary's Church.
