Description
The former coach house, now used as a garage and store, is located approximately 10 metres southeast of Caus Castle Farmhouse. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rendered coursed sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The building is one storey high with a loft.
The southwest front features a pair of central two-light fixed wooden windows. To the left is a boarded door, likely the former stable door, and to the right are large boarded double doors. There is a loft opening in the left-hand gable end, while the right-hand gable end has nine external stone steps leading up to a segmental-headed boarded loft door. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
