Description

This is a house, likely originating in the 15th century, but substantially rebuilt later. It is timber-framed and has brick cladding, covered by a Welsh slate roof. The house is low, with two storeys and a two-window front. The 20th-century brick facade features a round-headed archway with a doorway to the right, and a four-light sash window beside it. The upper windows are two-light, horizontally sliding sashes. A cruck frame is visible in the gable wall, exhibiting an arched braced tie beam, a collar near the apex, and trenches indicating the former position of purlins. The timber frame is infilled with square panelled framing.
