Description

90 and 91 Frankwell is a pair of houses that are currently used as a shop. The facade dates from the late 18th century, but the building itself is from the 16th century. It has a timber frame that has been refronted in painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high with a gabled attic dormer and has a two-window range. The ground floor has an inserted shop front and an archway to the right leading to a passageway. The upper windows are four-pane sashes with single ring cambered heads, and there is a possible blocked central window. At the rear, there is a timber-framed wing with two bays of framing in square panels supported by arch braces. A queen strut roof truss is visible in the gable end.
