Description

The war memorial in Bridgnorth, located in the Castle Grounds, was built around 1920 by Captain Adrian Jones to commemorate those who died in the First World War. It features a large red sandstone ashlar pedestal that stands on a stepped base, topped by a large bronze figure of a soldier in battle dress. The pedestal is adorned with bronze plaques that list the names of individuals who were killed in both the First and Second World Wars.
