Description
The sundial, located approximately 10 metres to the south of the Church of Saint Martin, is a churchyard cross that dates back to 1638. It is made of dressed grey sandstone and has an octagonal shape. The structure features the remains of a cross, which includes a chamfered base and two steps. Atop this is a 17th-century square-section baluster with a moulded base and top, along with a copper dial plate that is inscribed with "1638/WG". The gnomon is broken, as noted during a survey in January 1987.
