Farmhouse. Early C19. Red brick with hipped slate roof. Square plan. 3 storeys over basement. Dentil brick eaves cornice. Brick ridge stacks off-centre to left and right. 3 bays; horizontal-sliding glazing bar sashes (except for ground-floor with vertical sliding sash to left) with gauged brick segmental heads. Central 6-panelled door (lower 2 flush and top 4 glazed) with reeded impost band, 3-part rectangular overlight and painted stone doorcase with Tuscan columns, and entablature returning to wall. Two-bay return fronts; mainly horizontal sliding sashes, but some blind with painted imitation sashes and also some small-paned casements. Right-hand return front with wrought-iron spearhead railings around external stone steps down to segmental-headed boarded basement door. Two-storey lean-to at rear. Interior: staircase with stick balusters and columular newel post. Each ground-floor front room with picture rail, moulded cornice and reeded soffit. Left-hand room has fireplace with reeded pilaster strips, panelled frieze with central oval patera, moulded cornice and cast-iron grate. Panelled window shutters.
