Description
This is a mid-19th century house located at 10 Upper Linney in Ludlow. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof, with a central brick ridge stack and a small end stack. The house has a lobby entry plan and stands two stories tall with a two-window range. The windows are 2/2 sashes set in broad moulded cases beneath timber lintels, and there are brick modillion eaves. The entrance is positioned to the center right and includes a 20th-century part-glazed door with an overlight that has a single glazing bar, all under a simple flat hood supported by plain pilasters. This entrance is flanked by similar 2/2 sash windows. At the rear, there is a gable wing that abuts the Town Wall, featuring 20th-century fenestration and a door with a blocked overlight, along with a brick end stack. Inside, the house has exposed ceiling beams, four-panel doors, and 19th-century fireplaces.
