Description
Morda Mill is an early 19th-century mill, subsequently disused, located in the Oswestry Rural parish. The building is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble, with a slate roof featuring a pediment at the centre. It stands four storeys high and has a dentilled eaves cornice that extends around the pediment. The mill has three bays; 19th-century casement windows are on either side, and four tiers of central boarded doors occupy the central bay. All openings are framed by red brick segmental arches. A winch fitting is situated above the top door, and a timber projection served as a hoist to the right gable end. A tall red brick stack rises from the roof slope to the left. Internally, the machinery is reported to have been removed.
