Description

This sundial, located approximately 10 meters south of Stanwardine Hall, is likely from the mid-19th century. It is made of sandstone and features a brass plate and gnomon. The sundial is circular, with a projecting capping and a circular base. An inscription around the column reads "I ONLY COUNT / THE / SUNNY HOURS," and the brass plate includes a representation of the sun along with the inscription "Sunny Hours." The sundial is included for its group value with the nearby hall.
