Description

The Hunt Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 25 meters north-west of the north aisle of the Church of St. Oswald in Oswestry. It dates from around 1831 and is made of sandstone. The tomb has a square shape with a moulded plinth and capping, featuring a chamfered top ledger and panelled corner pilasters. The inscription on the south side commemorates Thomas Hunt, who died in 1831.
