Description
Churchwarden Cottage and Cromwell Cottage are two houses dating from the late 18th century to an earlier core. They are constructed of roughcast brick and timber-frame, topped with an old and 20th-century plain tile roof, featuring a brick ridge and end stack. The buildings have a three-unit plan and are single storey with an attic, presenting a four-window range. The windows are 20th-century mullion and transom casements with shutters, and the entrances are located to the left, featuring studded plank doors in plain cases, with a storey band above. There are three 19th-century slate-hung gable dormers, each fitted with 20th-century casements.
