Description
This small stable and coach house, built in the mid-18th century, is located approximately 50 meters southwest of The Isle. Constructed from red brick and topped with a plain tile roof, it features one storey and a loft. The east front has blocked segmental-headed wooden cross windows on the left and a boarded door on the right, which is topped by a segmental relieving arch. The left corner is rounded up to the loft level. The left gable end includes a boarded loft door, a ground-floor segmental-headed door on the right, a central slatted window, and a pair of boarded coach house doors on the left, also with a segmental relieving arch. This building is included for its group value, likely serving as the stable and coach house for The Old House or Home Farmhouse. It is part of a group of farm buildings to the southwest of The Isle, which also includes barns dated 1739, another stable block, and a further stable and coach house dated 1749, none of which are listed here.
