Description

Clunbury Hall is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with later additions and alterations, possibly including a slight raising of the eaves. The building is constructed of regularly coursed limestone rubble and features a slate roof with deep eaves and external end stacks topped with red brick. It has a T-plan layout with lower ranges at the rear, where the back range has had its eaves raised in brick. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window front, featuring glazing bar sashes. There are three late 19th-century gabled eaves dormers positioned at the bottom of the roof slope. The central entrance is covered by a 20th-century glazed porch, which leads to a contemporary inner glazed door that retains a semi-circular fanlight within a 19th-century rectangular overlight.
