Description

Talbot House is a house that possibly dates from the early 18th century and has undergone later alterations. It features a render over brick with a shallow pitched roof and has a two-unit plan. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window range. There is an off-centre six-panelled door with a fanlight set in an open pedimented case that has panelled rebates. Each floor has flanking sash windows, which have been renewed in their original openings on the ground floor, with 12 panes above. String courses are visible as bulges in the rendering, and the house has angle quoins, parapet eaves, and a gable end stack.
