This is a group of 18th-century red-brick buildings comprising numbers 18 to 23 on Cartway. The buildings are two storeys high with attics, and are characterised by a variety of window types and six gabled dormers. They are roofed with tiles. Nos. 2 to 14, 16 to 26 and 29 to 32 on Cartway form a group with this property.
