Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 15 meters south-south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Edith. The tombs date from 1790, 1799, and 1809. They are rectangular in shape and feature moulded plinths and capping. Each tomb has inscription panels set against a reeded background on the west face, commemorating, from south to north, Christiana Perkins (who died in 1799), William Groves (who died in 1790), and his wife, Christiana (who died in 1809).
